I’m Sharon Dale, a coach, facilitator, and advocate for neurodiversity and inclusion in the workplace. My journey with ADHD has shaped my entire approach to work and life. Diagnosed later in life, I realised that so many of my daily struggles stemmed not from a lack of capability but from a lack of understanding and support.
I remember times when I’d try to contribute new ideas only to feel misunderstood or, worse, overlooked because my way of working didn’t fit the mould. My unique strengths, like creative problem-solving, for example, were sometimes sidelined for preferred “best practices”.
My mission now is to help neurodivergent individuals thrive in workplaces that see and value them. I believe that teams can become stronger, more innovative, and more resilient by embracing diverse ways of thinking. Through coaching, facilitation, and speaking, I’m here to help build environments where everyone, neurodivergent or not, can do their best work without having to mask or constantly adapt to be understood.
I’ve spent many years supporting individuals and teams in various roles, from IT and government to coaching and facilitation. I’ve seen how neurodivergent people can feel isolated or frustrated by rigid workplace expectations, even when they’re incredibly capable.
I founded 21st Century Mindset because I believe that neurodivergent professionals deserve more than just “getting by”; they deserve workplaces that see and value them for who they are. My mission is to create spaces where everyone can bring their best without compromising who they are.
