
In January I wrote a post about moving with ADHD. We were expecting it to happen in February. Well that didn’t happen and here we are again, due to move in three weeks.
After the let down last time it has been really difficult to summon up the motivation to pack. Now that we are three weeks out I am hoping that the motivation might show up.
We don’t have a great deal of furniture but we do have a lot of stuff in boxes including the contents of my office which are in storage.
I have planned where in our new place we will put the furniture we have but we will need to thin down the rest of our belongings over the next couple of weeks otherwise we will be in the same situation there as here.
My plan is to start with clothes, shoes and bags. I have already sorted some of the clothes into things I don’t think I will wear again and things I might wear again. I might start putting some of it on Vinted.
Most other personal things such as tech and books will be more difficult to sort and might have to wait until after the move.
I have a ton bag in the car where I will put things for the tip and boxes for charity shops in the boot.
Tomorrow I will get up, eat breakfast, take my ADHD meds, get started, and then I will let you know how I got on.
